Proximity voice chat: recording and transcription

What is recorded

• Conversations held on proximity voice are recorded, player by player. Silence periods are not kept.
• You explicitly accept this before downloading the overlay or accessing voice chat: your acceptance is dated and linked to the version of the rules you read.

Transcription

Each recording is automatically transcribed into text, directly on our server (the audio doesn't go anywhere else). The resulting text is then analyzed to spot any prohibited remarks: personal insults, hate speech, harassment.

Why we record

• To handle reports: when a player says "he insulted me in voice chat", we can check instead of choosing who to believe.
• To resolve disputes between players fairly.
• To spot prohibited remarks, even when no one dares to report.

Who can listen

Only the authorized moderation team can listen to recordings or read transcripts, and every consultation is logged: who listened, to what, and when. No one can snoop around secretly.

How long

Audio and transcripts are kept for 30 days, then automatically deleted.

Your rights

• "My voice chat" page (/mon-vocal): listen back to your own voice. You only have access to your own recordings, never anyone else's.
• You can request access to your recordings and transcripts, or their deletion, by opening a ticket.

Muting someone yourself

Is a player bothering you? You can mute them from the overlay (sound icon on their party card) or from the site Settings page. Muting works both ways (you can't hear them anymore, they can't hear you anymore) and they are not notified.
