Reputation (Social Score)

It goes up

• On its own, for every hour spent in-game without incident.
• When you hatch a nest (both parents benefit).

The highest tiers grant a Discord role: “Good Player” or “Excellent Player.”

It drops

Mistakes that lower your reputation:

• Combat-log: logging out, putting your dino in the park, burying yourself, or teleporting in the middle of combat to escape.
• Drowning escape: Deliberately drowning yourself to deprive your opponent of a victory.
• Mixed pack: Staying grouped with carnivores of another species. The overlay will warn you before a penalty is issued.
• Betrayal: Killing a member of your own group on the site.
• Revenge kill: Respawning as a dino to kill your killer immediately after your death.
• Sanctuary camping: Hunting juveniles in a sanctuary with an adult.
• Metagaming in the Global channel.
• Insults, hate speech, or harassment, whether written or spoken (following human verification).
• Certain behaviors observed in-game by an admin (corpse camping, etc.).

You’re Always Notified

• An in-game message notifies you of each loss, clearly stating the infraction.
• A private Discord message if your account is linked.
• A pop-up window on the website that you must read and confirm: no one can claim, “I didn’t know.”

The “Banned” Tier

Once you hit rock bottom, the ban is automatic: 24 hours the first time, 72 hours the second, and permanent the third. A temporary ban is lifted the first time the server restarts after it expires, and you’ll start over with a low reputation: you’ll have to rebuild it.

A mistake?

Automatic detection can be wrong. Open a ticket (press F10 in the overlay, or on Discord): if the penalty was unjustified, it will be reversed and you’ll be notified. To prevent any collusion among friends, only founders can reverse a penalty.
